Company Profile Please allow us to introduce our company to you and offer a description of our services. Hardin Signs, Inc. was founded in 1967 by Bill and Marian Hardin. Jim Hardin has been involved full-time since 1973 and is vice-president. Bill had been in management positions with two other sign companies prior to starting his own business. As a full-service sign company, we employ individuals from three different unions: electricians, sheet metal, and painters. These are long-term loyal employees who exhibit pride in their work, and we appreciate their craftsmanship. We offer complete sign manufacturing capabilities including graphics and logo design services, and are licensed as an electrical contractor by the City of Peoria. We fabricate illuminated letters and signs, LED sign lighting, neon, non-illuminated signs (painted or vinyl copy on a variety of substrates), cutout, formed plastic and cast aluminum letters, cast plaques, plywood site signs, sandblasted signs, banners, vehicle and window graphics, interior signage including ADA. We also furnish time & temperature units and full-color message center signs, as well as illuminated awnings. Besides installing our own signs and providing service and maintenance, we do sub-contract installations for companies who coordinate sign work for national accounts. Our geographical work area is on average a sixty-mile radius around Peoria, but we will go beyond that. Our staff can obtain any permits needed, and we will do site surveys for prospective locations.
